Grandma's Wash Day
Travel back to the good old days... when cutting edge inventions made doing household laundry a breeze.
The temporary exhibit "Grandma’s Wash Day" traces the evolution of washing machines and other devices (1830’s to 1933) used to launder clothes and various household articles.
Special thanks to Dennis Kund & Associates (exhibit panel design and fabrication), Maegan Peterman, Don Boon and Richie Shehorn and the many creative and hardworking Delaware Agricultural Museum volunteers and staff who curated new "wash day" displays!
