The Agricultural Museum is seeking volunteer 19th-century craft demonstrators to help bring history to life during our Christmas fundraiser, A Farmer’s Christmas, on November 28 and December 12. Do you demonstrate traditional skills such as spinning, weaving, woodworking, candle making, soap making, tinsmithing, quilting, basketry, cooking, whittling, or another historic craft? We would love to hear from you! Last year, A Farmer’s Christmas welcomed more than 1,000 visitors to the museum. The Delaware State Fair kicks off today! Are you planning to visit the fair? If so, swing by the Ag Museum Booth and try your hand at milking Lulu or enter to win a family membership! See you at the fair!! The museum will still be open normal hours during the fair.

The museum is closed today, June 19th, in honor of the Juneteenth holiday.

Today’s the day! Bring your lawn chair and come listen to Joey Fulkerson, an amazing guitar player. Doors open at 5:30, get your food from Uncle Bernie’s Steak Shack, grab some beer or wine from the bar, and the concert will start at 6:30. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.
